The iMac “Core i5” 3.1 27-Inch Aluminum (Retina 5K, 2020/Comet Lake) features a 14-nm “Comet Lake” 3.1 GHz Intel “Core i5” processor (I5-10500) with six independent processor “cores” on a single chip, a 12 MB shared level 3 cache, a T2 Security Chip, 8 GB of easy to upgrade 2666 MHz DDR4 SDRAM, a 256 GB onboard SSD, and a Radeon Pro 5300 graphics processor with 4 GB of dedicated GDDR6 video memory. Moreover, it boasts a built-in stereo speaker system, a studio-grade three-mic array, and a 1080p “FaceTime HD” webcam. and tapers to a razor thin 5 mm at the edges.
A 27″ 5120×2880 LED-backlit 16:9 widescreen IPS DCI-P3 “Retina 5K” display with True Tone technology is featured in this model. The aluminium case’s back is thicker in the centre and tapers to an incredibly tiny 5 mm at the borders.
Four USB 3.0 ports, two Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) connections, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.0 are all included in the connectivity.
